Vacation Crop: Let the Cropping Begin!

Started my vacation last week and needless to say things did not go well at all for the 1st day.  We did not get packed the night before and have everything prepped earlier in the week like we usually do for vacations.  the next day was spent getting all of our things together, and ready to go.  Bike tires pumped up, chains greased, all squeaky brakes taken care of, purchase additional items needed to haul the canoe, bug nets bought for out on the lake, and many other last minute items to enjoy our week with no kids...

What we hoped to only take a few hours took over 14 hours, and we still hadn't left the driveway, 48 hours later!  This may end up being a stay-cation at this rate.

I was SO glad to be able to take part in Day # 1 of the Vacation Crop this morning to get rid of the pent up frustrations from last week.  Searching for lost keys (not my fault), finding all the camp gear not used in almost 15 years...

Check out what I've done so far in 2 hours!

I created this Facebook banner with Artisan 4.0 from Panstoria with the FREE blueprint from Pixels to Pages (must be a member).  Now to start posting my pages to get my next badge from the crop.  I will not have any internet connection the rest of the weekend after 0800.  As I get back to the grind... Can't wait to post after vacation pages to share with you.

One last page for tonight...

Time to get some shut eye.  Have fun making pages this weekend with P2p's vacation crop.  Join them here for the latest challenges : http://www.pixels2pages.net/2014/07/25/vacation-crop-let-the-cropping-begin/

Fireworks

I had to work over the July 4th Holiday and through the weekend, but my family & I were able to catch one of the local fireworks shows.  We were about a quarter mile from where they were being set-off, our usual viewing spot.  Here are a few of my photos.  Be sure to check out my album on Facebook for more Fireworks Album.

I am extremely pleased with my results this year.  I took 296 photos, deleted the bad photos got down to 194, then I selected the best 50 for my album, these are my lucky 13!  ENJOY!!
